Link Warnings

Some links I've put up go to mature sites [for older teen audiences, NOT adult audiences! x_x]. The content isn't too extreme or disgusting but you will bump into stuff that will scare you. o.o" These symbols I've made are here to warn you when you hover over the link. If it's unmarked, it's safe. If not...

[X] - This means there's some mature content in here. [Blood, horror, etc]

Unmarked - It's totally safe. Nothing scary here. :]

Credits - If I've put something like © Yukino or name like that, then I'm just crediting myself or someone else.

FINALLY, AN INTERESTING POST FOR ONCE!!!

Anyway, today was another stupid Sunday...I did my usual stuff.
But today, I did something different. I brought my library book with me.

Here's the description from eBay.

The book is entitled Define "Normal". A good book.
It reminded me of how I always felt. Depressed and lonely.

The story is about a 14-year-old girl named Antonia Dillon. She joins the new peer counseling group, but suddenly she wants to quit. Why? Because she's found out that her peer she will counsel is Jazz Luther. A punk, druggie, and gang hanger.
They turn out to be enemies at first, but slowly their friendship blossoms.
They find out that they both have a lot more in common then they both expected.

The story is rather...dark. These girls go through a lot together. They told each other what happens to both of them. They grow to understand each other and actually become friends.

I really like it. It reminds me of how I feel. This punk girl searches for help through a peer counselor. Both their lives suck all the way. But they notice that they have a lot in common and that they aren't alone. These to friends are both depressed and have gone through a lot. Jazz's parents are control freaks and Antonia's parents are divorced.

Last night, I stayed up late. I was depressed and looked at counseling and help sites. I tried looking for articles on depression, divorce and suicide ideation. One of the articles that you need to see a child psychologist and get some therapy. Oh, gosh...getting therapy makes me feel like I need to go to a mental hospital...the thought of a mental hospital makes me shudder...

That book can really compare to my life.

It's really good. You should go search a book store or library catalog and find this book. I recommend it!
