Link Warnings

Some links I've put up go to mature sites [for older teen audiences, NOT adult audiences! x_x]. The content isn't too extreme or disgusting but you will bump into stuff that will scare you. o.o" These symbols I've made are here to warn you when you hover over the link. If it's unmarked, it's safe. If not...

[X] - This means there's some mature content in here. [Blood, horror, etc]

Unmarked - It's totally safe. Nothing scary here. :]

Credits - If I've put something like © Yukino or name like that, then I'm just crediting myself or someone else.

Fallen Leaf

We all fall down...

Today I went to Mrs. Lu's office again. This time, Mrs. Lu wasn't there.
Another counselor, Mrs. Hiroshima, was waiting for me instead.
"Oh, hello. You're [Yukino], right?"
"Oh, y-yes.", I stuttered. We walked into the office beside Mrs. Lu's.
We took a seat. "As you know, all the information you've given will be confidential."
"Ok."
I started to tell her my story. She understood.
"Well, it seems like you're going through a lot." All the counselors say that...
"Have you discussed your feelings with your family."
"Yes." I answered softly. "My dad knows what I'm going through."
"That's good."
We paused for a moment.
"Well, thanks for coming. It was nice to meet you."
I stood up and said goodbye.

As I walked home, I thought about Mrs. Hiroshima. I thought about my life.
"I'm like a leaf. Swaying on a branch and slowly losing my grip on life. One day I will fall. And become a fallen leaf.", I thought as I kicked the autumn leaves. "Maybe I might hold on a little longer. Maybe this all might stop. Then I won't be a fallen leaf." I kicked the leaves and watched them dance with the wind. They circled around me and across the pavement.
"These leaves bring back old memories. Memories with my old friends." I pictured all my friends back in elementary school. We were crazy little kids with crazy little dreams. Life was easy back then. Laid back. I miss those days. I miss my family, too.
